    About the Role


    Gone to the Dogs is a pet product company specializing in ethical and handmade accessories and goods for pet parents. We are a small women-led business that is growing rapidly. We’re looking to hire a Production Coordinator and Maker to join our lively team at our studio-storefront during the busy holiday season. If you’re hard-working and dedicated, Gone to the Dogs is a place to flourish and grow.


    Responsibilities

     

    • Produce in-house products (pet collars, leashes, harnesses) sold at Gone to the Dogs online and physical location
    • Quality control raw materials; remove or fix damaged pieces as appropriate
    • Clean and complete raw material preparation cycle in order for production to take place
    • Handmake physical product by using hand tools, manual machines, and riveting
    • Coordinate with in-house Design and Production to meet daily and weekly production quotas
    • Reports to management status of production on daily and/or weekly basis
    • Track and restock raw materials inventory
    • Complete rounds of quality control for all finished in-house products
    • Tag, package and restock inventory
    • Tag, package and fulfill handmade orders
    • Keep work area neat, organized and clean



    Qualifications 

     

    • Handy, good with your hands, dexterous
    • Proficiency in handmade, handwork, and handcrafted product
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Great attention to detail
    • Careful, precise and safe maneuvering of hand tools and machines
    • Great team player and open to constructive feedback
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Able to endure physical labor and being on your feet during the day
    • Able to lift 30-40 lbs cartons
